    Students create “Candidate Chats”

    Tuesday, October 12th, 2010

We saw this story about Oklahoma high school seniors Chinyere Agbai and Luke Leifeste on a quest to get questions answered from candidates across their home state. So they set out to interview a bunch of candidates and put the results on YouTube.

Chinyere and Luke said that too many young people were voting the way their parents were voting; not because their parents were right or wrong, but because young people don’t have access to all the information out there. So they made their own video voter guide they call Candidate Chats.

If you live in Oklahoma check it out so you can make your own decisions and if you’re around the county, maybe you can be inspired to ask candidates questions and make your own video.

Check out this video with the GOP candidate for Insurance Commissioner. Like, what does the Insurance Commissioner do and why is this position a partisan position?
