Um,

Lois Lerner pleads the 5th in the investigation into IRS harassment case. You know, the case where Treasury knew of the situation before the election but chose to keep it under wraps because it might hurt reelection chances.

Probably a little more "crucial" than Anthony Weiner, yes?

" I do want to pursue the things I love without fears of debt or unemployment. " What?

That's called Utopia. It does not exist. It will ever exist. We live in the real world, where supply and demand is not only relevant in terms of products, but in terms of skills.

"It’s nearly impossible to maintain a steady well-paying job in modern America without a college education. " Hmmm.

I built a house last year and shelled out tremendous amounts of money to plumbers, electricians and HVAC guys who had trouble squeezing me into their schedules. None of them went to college, but all of them were skills-based people in high demand.

Your comments are so absolute in their scope to be classified as breathtaking.

Why do you think that half of college grads can't find employment in their desired fields? Maybe it's because a lot of people are not college material. If the career field you choose cannot support the debt load you've incurred, then your education is not worth what you paid for it. Interest rates at 3% or 6% will not be the tipping point in terms of whether your degree is viable.

Your sense of entitlement is staggering. Feel free to comment back, if you'd like. I'm all ears.

But the State Department clearly had the final edits o the talking points, so it is not just a CIA issue:

Have you seen the percentage increase in tuition costs relative to any other product of any kind over the past two decades? Why do you think higher education costs are out of control? Why do you think it now costs $50 grand a year to go to school? Because government encourages young kids to go into the red to attain what is perceived to be a God-given right to higher education. Why is the unemployment rate so high for college grads? Because too many kids wind up going to college rather than learning a skill or trade and then have $150k of student loans they can't pay back because there is no demand for art history majors.

Oh, and student loans are not dismissible in bankruptcy, so the government makes you a debt slave from the time you are 21. If you think that an interest rate education is going to cure the woes, then you probably didn't have much success in math. $150k in PRINCIPLE is the problem. Until colleges lower their tuition rates (which they won't as long as Uncle Sam keeps offering unlimited debt servitude to the masses), a reduction in interest rates is not going to be the magic bullet you are looking for.

My comment must have been lost. I' ll repost since it must have been a glitch.

IRS targeted conservative groups in an effort to intimidate. You keep missing that one. Rhymes with Watergate.

State Department changed the talking points on Benghazi because they didn’t want to admit to a terrorist attack so close to the election.

What part of politics and overstepping the bounds of the office have they not yet taught you at university?

You missed the abortion doctor trial as well, where he snipped the spinal columns of infants that were born alive.

But, thankfully, we now learn about the creators of HIMYM! Riveting!
