Today is primary election day in Kansas, Michigan and Missouri! If you live in any of these 3 states, see you at the polls. If you’ve got friends that live in those states, give them a call, send them a text, Facebook them, or gchat them: remind them that it’s their election day.
Your vote in the primaries matters!
By voting in the primaries, you make a difference in who makes it onto the final ballot in November. It is the chance to decide from the many candidates the one that will represent your party of choice. And when you cast your ballot, you’re making sure that your voice is heard and that you have a say in the government and on the issues that impact you, whatever they may be.
But what if you’re not in Kansas, Michigan, and Missouri? Find out the deadline to register to vote and the dates for the primary and general elections in your state by visiting our Election Center, which has all sorts of voting information. Once you click on your state, you can find your polling place, learn what to bring to the polls, and get info on specific registration deadlines and early/absentee voting.
