White House Call on Haiti

For anyone wanting to hear directly from the White House on the US response to Haiti they are hosting a conference call that you are invited to participate in. Below are the details – the call is this afternoon at 4pm EST. When you call in you will be asked by the operator for the title of the call you want to participate in ‘Haiti Update’ and your name – you will then be put in the call.

In our efforts to keep concerned communities in the United States informed about the current situation in Haiti, we invite you to participate on a conference call today with Administration officials at 4pm EST today, Friday, Jan. 15th

Cash donations are still the preferred method of donation at this point in the rescue and relief effort and we know that many of you are organizing donations in your own communities.

On this call, we will also walk through how to access information online. We will also give an update as to what is happening on the ground.
