Which means more politics and more fun.
What’s 2010 going to be like? Any predictions? We’ve certainly started out with a bang:
- Democrats are ‘retiring’
- The health care bill is in it’s final stages and being negotiated by House and Senate leaders
- Yemen has become a new (ish) bed of terror
- Google has unveiled a new smartphone
- There have been some pretty phenomenal college bowl games
And on and on and on….. I’m excited for 2010, it’s going to be a wild ride and promises to be interesting. Besides, who doesn’t love living in a country that can produce videos like this:
Cat’s acting like humans…..always funny.
Here’s to 2010!

Or videos like this?

Why dont the democrats allow CSPAN to televise their negotiations for the final bill? I thought transparency was promised in this process. Nice to see the same stuff coming out of DC irrespective of the party in charge.
probably in 2010 40-year old trolls will keep wasting their time on the rtv blog while the rest of us get to work
check this out gentlemen: http://i.imgur.com/Zh0yK.jpg
“If you’re a liberal at twenty, you have no heart, if you’re not a conservative at forty, you have no brain.” – Winston Churchill
Hey look who wants the healthcare bill passed – Big Pharma. Hocoodanode?

@shoeless. you’d think a person with the credentials like “Nobel prize for literature” and “first person to be named an honorary citizen of the united states of America” would merit an ACCURATE QUOTE! He was part of the liberal party in the UK from the ages of thirty to fifty. AND, they were SOCIAL LIBERALS!
how about -”truth is incontrovertible. Panic may resent it, ignorance may deride it, malice may distort it, but there it is.” -Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill.
@shoeless. Why do you think “big pharma” wants health care reforms? Money. yes. they understand that there are people who can’t afford medication and have to go without it. if there is public health care they get to sell more drugs! And more people can live longer. even though you may not want them to.
@barefoot: aw hell yes that is the sweet science right there.
Churchill didn’t say that it was a French revolutionary during the terrors:
The phrase originated with Francois Guisot (1787-1874): “Not to be a
republican at twenty is proof of want of heart; to be one at thirty is
proof of want of head.”
now let’s talk about shoeless in general with respect to the following qualities: 1) want of head and 2) want of heart
