government run healthcare is not the answer. as it is, we have people coming from other countries to the US getting treatment because they can’t get emergency care from their govt run healthcare. plus, how will this country afford it?

OK – I am frustrated with the health care system right now. As are millions and millions of Americans. My health insurance through my job went into effect today. I’ve had a sinus infection for a week waiting on July 1st so that I can go to the doctor. The insurance company doesn’t have it processed yet so I can’t even go to the doctor without having to pay the regular office visit fee!!! I have a rash and my eyes are swollen – but I don’t have the money to go without my insurance being in effect.

Something needs to be done in this country for those with no health insurance. There’s no reason in the world medical bills should be so high when insurance companies and hospitals write off billions and billions of dollars a year in fees they’ve charged.

We need some equality, Mr. President. And we need it now.

I really hope progress is made with today’s town hall. I will be all ears. If you’re going to be at work during the town hall, the app I always use on my iPhone for White House updates will be streaming it, so you can listen to it conveniently here: http://www.iheartradio.com/whblive. Hoping for the best today.

First of all, thank you for all of your effort to make change! Unfortunately in our country making change is like climbing a greased rope. I will not give up, I will stand with you and pass the great value of change to my children, grandchildren and anyone else that stands still long enough.
I have been laid off my job since 12/31. Unfortunately, I carried the health insurance for myself and my children. I look forward to change in the near future that will give our nation a healthcare system that works with, not against us to make us a healthier people that is more affordable to “the average Joe”

    5. Obama’s Health Reform in Jeopardy? Don’t You Believe it

      It’s a Slam Dunk, and Here’s Why

Although it may appear that corporate medicine’s opposition is strong enough to kill health care reform, I would argue that Obama’s health reform is now a slam dunk inevitability. Not only that, Obama’s public health plan will mean the end of the health insurance industry. And, I say good riddance to this bloated evil empire….

Dear Obama… why do you want America to be in debts??? don’t you like America? After Trillions of borrowing money from China do you still think US will be in Top nations list?

    8. Tom says:

Governmental health care is NOT the answer. And then Congress is trying to rush a program designed in a couple of months? And at a cost of a trillion dollars. Are we just all crazy? How do we allow such things to happent to us? I’m ready to fire up my pen and take names and numbers. NO GOVERMENT HEALTH CARE!

    9. Jill says:

why doesent he use it instead of haveing the best insurence in the world ,make his family take it like he wants the rest of us to .Obamas health care is not good for us ,if he thinks it is so good then
