A great piece about the real Rosa Parks: Josh Eidelson writes for Campus Progress about "the 50-year-old myth that Parks was an apolitical woman who one day ambled into history out of simple physical exhaustion and then promptly ambled back out of it again. Such a myth only encourages needless knee-jerk skepticism of contemporary activists who are public about strong political convictions, work through political organizations, and formulate careful media strategies – all of which describe the real Rosa Parks, not the Rosa Parks most Americans remember."

Is it really that important? We spend too much time in the past dwelling on feelings of hatred that only re-surface due to excessive media coverage. Look forward.
yes, the past is important. We have to look at the past in order to understand the future, or else we are likely to repeat the mistakes that we have made.
Thank you ben for imparting your wisdom on us. So can we look at the past and say that RTV has supported liberal causes while pretending not to, and therefore say, they are corrupt?
If you hate RTV so much, then why is it you follow every single thing they do? and then why are you even on here? just so you can say you like to put people down?

I dislike what RTV has become, and you should too. It's become the youth outreach operation of the Democratic party. I'm on here to entertain myself by observing RTV's partisanship and to point it out to others.
Please, RTV is nothing more than the outreach program of the DNC. Hans likes to talk the talk of bieng non partisan, but he donates to Democrat front groups.
